This is a candid recording in a u. S. Fabric store during the christmas holiday season. Primarily women conversing with store clerks. Clean, with no music. Recorded with: sound devices 702t, sanken cs-1e.

Recorded on june 29, 2012 near the exit at webster's department store. This features how the checkout area at websters sounded from june 2012 untill its closing on november 3, 2015. This is part of a pack of 4k sounds recorded over 17 years commemorating my friend's department store which she owned. It showcases how the sounds in the store have changed over the years as the technology of teh store changes. Each recording is done within a week after the cash registers are upgraded. As of the date of this posting, webster's is now closed, and will re-open as a walmart in january of 2016.

Here is another recording i made using my brand new mic. This is a bit of grocery store ambiance, including people talking and the beeps of the cash registers as the items are being scanned. Recorded with a new rode microphone connected to my sony recorder. Hope you enjoy.

You hear coolers, chatter, the sound of a cash register and debit machine off stage, and general store or cafe lounge sounds. This sound is dedicated to any asmrtists on youtube and is made with them in mind, but you may use this project for other uses.
